Sony Xperia Sola Specifications and Review

Sony recently released their latest Smartphone , and the newest member in the Xperia Family, the Sony Xperia Sola into the market.

NOTE: Sony Xperia Sola was previously rumored as Sony MT27i Pepper.

So today I am sharing with you the specifications of Sony Xperia Sola (formerly rumored as Sony MT27i Pepper)

Sony Xperia Sola Review and Specifications

Body

Sony Xperia Sola has the dimensions of 116 x 59 x 9.9 mm , and weighs 107 g.
It also supports Touch-sensitive controls.

Display

Sony Xperia Sola has a LED-backlit LCD, Capacitive Touchscreen, and supports 16M colors.

The screen size (length) is 3.7 inches, as the screen resolution is 480*854 pixels, at approximately 265 ppi pixel density.

It also supports multitouch (upto 4 fingers).

Whats more? It comes with the protection of a Scratch-resistant glass!
It supports Floating touch display, and has Sony Mobile BRAVIA Engine.

Sound

Sony Xperia Sola supports MP3 ringtones.
It does have a 3.5 mm jack.

Also, it has a Loudspeaker, along with Stereo speakers.
It also supports 3D Surround Sound because of the 3D Surround Sound Enhancement it has.

Memory

Sony Xperia Sola has an Internal memory of 8 GB, out of which 5 GB is available to the user.
It supports MicroSD memory card, and has an expandable memory upto 32GB.

Also, this smartphone has 512 MB RAM.

Sony Xperia Sola supports GPRS (upto a speed of 100 kbps), EDGE (upto a speed of 296 kbps), HSDPA (upto a speed of 14.4 Mbps), and HSUPA (upto a speed of 5.76 Mbps).

It also supports Wi-Fi and can be used as a Wi-fi hotspot.
Moreover, it supports bluetooth v3.0 with A2DP, EDR support.

Conclusion

Sony Xperia Sola is a really good smartphone. The main highlight of this smartphone is its floating touch technology, which senses looming motions above the touchscreen.
The only negative aspect about this smartphone is that it does not have a secondary camera.

If you don’t need secondary camera then you can go with this Xperia Sola.
