Currently Microsoft has started a new initiative entitled “Call for her”. Microsoft wants to target women for its Windows Smartphone Platform.
Actually Microsoft is developing Mobile apps for women especially. They wants to make their Windows Phone Popular among the women all round the world. The main motive of this Project “Call for her” is to first make their apps used by women so that women will look towards the windows platform.
Well according to marketing organisations - women are more likely to perform a range of activities on smartphones then men which is quite interesting fact for women. May be that is the reason that now Microsoft is targetting womans for their Windows Phone.
